My dad has been in the ICU at American Fork hospital since last Saturday. He woke up with huge welts all over his body, seriously from head to toe. He and my mom went to the ER and found out that he had a fever of 104 that he didn't know he had. Then they movedhim right to the ICU with blood pressure that was as low as 65/40. They have had a hard time all week trying to get his blood pressure to come up. It will only stay up when he's on antibiotics, ever time they take him off the drip his blood pressure takes a plunge. They took him off it for the 3rd time yesturday morning and he seems to be holding steady now. He's still covered in red welts and probably will for 8 weeks. The diagnosis they gave him is something that can be caused from anything from ibuprofen to being exposed to a child with chicken pox. It's so wierd. It has been a really scary thing for me to see my dad in the hospital and being so out of it as he has been extremely tired and dazed. I am so extremely grateful that he is finally starting to feel better. Paige has been devistated that she hasn't been able to see her Grandpa, they don't allow anyone under 12 in the ICU. He's still in the recovery process, please keep him in your prayers.

Traci, I'm so sorry! That is scary. I hope everything is ok. We will pray for him for sure. Keep us posted.
I sure hope he is doing all right! Poor guy. Your dad is one of my favorite people, I hope he feels better soon. I hate it when the doctors don't know exactly what's wrong or what caused it! I hope they figure something out. I'm sure Dr. House could fix him! (Do you watch that show?)
Thank you so much for coming to my show! It made me so happy so see you guys there. I hear bob will be directing a show soon, please let me know... all our kids and parents want information on auditions. :)
Sorry to hear about your Father. I hope he will get better soon.
