Why do people talk to pregnant women?
So there is a woman in my ward that always has a way of saying the wrong thing to pregnant ladies. I've heard husbands say "Take it easy!" to her after a comment she made to their wife. Well when I was 4 weeks pregnant she asked me if I was pregnant and I told her no. First of all I wasn't tell anyone, and second I WASN"T SUPPOSED TO LOOK PREGNANT!!!! So she found out that I am and she is really mad at me for lying. Well last week she told me I am definitely having twins. Well yesterday she looked me up and down and said "There are three in there! They wont wait until November to do your ultrasound!" Uhhhhh... Thanks?!? Then as she was telling me how mad she was that I lied and I told her I wasn't sharing the info and that point she said, "Well for someone that has been running people are going to wonder why you are looking so chubby." Uhhh . . . Thanks again?!? All I heard this whole time was "Holy Crap your fat!! You look like you could lift off like the blimp any second!" I am trying to prepare myself for all of the comments to come. Besides that fact that you are extra sensitive at this time anyway, people say things that would hurt your feelings even without the extra hormones. When i was pregnant with Landon I had someone ask me if I was having a baby elephant. So if you need me I will be hibernating safely in my home!

ok she totally SUCKS! Does she have kids? Has she EVER been pregnant? She must have some serious self esteem issues to think she can be this way.
I think you look great! I hope you take her totally off the wall comments with a grain of salt.
As for the running comment.. oh that totally &%$#*@(!) me off. I too have been running for almost 5 months and haven't dropped a lb. Man I want to RUN her over... with my body of course.. it won't hurt much right?

OMG!! Seriously the nerve of some people. You would think that being a woman herself she would understand. Even if she hasn't had kids. Obviously she ain't got any common sense of tact! I think you look great!! I must say that I am totally curious as to who this person is since I am in the ward :) And then, I could go kick her trash for ya! :)
Ooooh I'd take her on any day!!! I can't believe she would even open her mouth if that is all she has to say to anyone! What a horrible person! Obviously someone needs to put her in her place. I'd be happy to do it! :) I love ya Traci and I bet you look great! Don't worry too much about her, next time just trip her as she walk past you ;)
That is awful!!!! I had someone ask me yesterday in relief society if I was a certain person on the pregnancy list. NO!? Why do I look pregnant? People need to keep their thoughts to themselves!
Ummm, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to have found your blog, but I did off Leslie's. Just had to say, I had no clue you were pregnant and I saw you a week ago. This ladies just trying to prove she made a luck guess. Crazy lady. Anyway, congrats on the upcoming baby. That's so exciting. And you and Robert did such a good job on OOTI :)
Remember you are a beautiful daughter of God. He loves you, your family loves you and your friends love you. That's all that matters. You are a beautiful person inside and out - don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
