Girls Weekend

My mom, my sisters, and I decided to take a last minute over-nighter to St. George to see Aida. Thankfully all of our husbands saw that we were in need of a break and were happy to take over the duties at home for 24 hours. As we were driving down we hit a couple of crazy rain storms. We hoped that it was just something passing by that area and not something we needed to worry about. Well it was something to worry about we watch in a terrible wind and rain storm. The dirt was pelting our faces, luckily we were in a semi-covered area at the top of the theater so we didn't get too wet. Lightning did hit one of the light polls. They stop the play at 2 different points to allow the pelting rain to pass. The special effects didn't come on when they were supposed to so at one point the boat moved across the stage about 5 minutes before the water made it to the stage. I also hear that they being a camel out at one point, we never saw it. We also lost half of the ochestra after the first break so the dance break on Strongest Suit was a little awkward. We giggled a lot. But we tried to make the most of it.
When my sisters and I get together there are a lot of tears, because we are laughing so hard. Yes, I did almost pee my pants in front of a big crowd of people. It wouldn't be a normal trip without a few pauses from me because I am about to loose control of my bladder. :-) My sister Jessica kept taking pictures so we gave her something to take a picture of...We didn't have anything better to do in all of those breaks in the show!!
Yes, we are trying to be gangsters!! We discovered we were good gangsters when we tried sexy faces. (see picture on bottom)

Silly faces!!

I thought if we stood like this it would make us look skinnier. . . try it out I know you wanna!!

Sexy faces! Our poor husbands. We discovered they needed a little work!
