Blessed

I am feeling pretty blessed. Let me tell you why. There have been 2 different times in the past few months where my family has been protected. During Labor day weekend and man stumbling drunk down the highway just out side of Vernal was hit and killed. My family was traveling this road that night and my mom and sister had to swerve to miss him and barely missed him because it was dark and they didn't see him until he was right infront of them. He was hit by another car seconds before my family passed. We were behind because our kids were crying and we needed to pull over to resituate. Coincidence?
This passed week 3 people were running across the highway here in Lehi and all 3 were hit by a car in the last lane they had to make it through. My kids were with my mom and sister because we were at the Tabernable Choir Concert. My mom and sister were less than a mile apart and they were hit somewhere between the 2 of them. I am truly sad for everyone involved in that accident and truly grateful that my family didn't have to witness such a thing.
On Sunday Landon got his finger smashed in a door, Paige fell into the bench infront of us just before Sacrament meeting began and got a bloody nose which bled all over her new white Christmas dress, and Jefferson fell and hit his head on a chair in Relief Society. I usually would have been very overwhelmed by so much loveliness in one day but I was just grateful that I had my family with me and that they were all ok.
Sorry this post is so serious, I just wanted to say how grateful I am for feeling the protection that we are recieving. I love my little family and am so grateful for them.
