If you have young kids you will appreciate it more! :-)
"This moment of peace and quiet (and cuddling) brought to you by "Ni-Hao Kai-Lan"...
Although this show drives me slightly crazy, it does bring tranquility to our household for 23 1/2 minutes each day...and for that I will be eternally grateful to Miss Kai-Lan & her little animal friends.
Speaking of Kai-Lan, why does her "YeYe" let her play with wild animals?!? I mean what kind of grandpa allows his granddaughter to play with and be peacemaker between a tiger, koala bear, a monkey, a rhino & red ants? Good grief...
And, then there's "Go Diego Go!" What parent in their right mind allows their son to have a pet jaguar & rescue "cute & helpless animals" like...an ANACONDA. What? Are you kidding me? Here's what Websters Dictionary has to say about Anacondas:
Anaconda (n:): A large semiaquatic snake of the boa family of tropical South America that may reach a length of 30 feet. It usually crushes its prey by constricting.
Good times! First of all, why do we want to rescue this thing in the first place, and why is an eight-year-old the only person capable of rescuing it?!?
And while I'm on the topic of kids shows that don't make a whole lot of sense, where in the H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS are Max & Ruby's parents (talk about child neglect!?!). And why is Caillou bald?
All things that make me go "hmmmmm" on a daily basis. But, as long as I get a few minutes of peace & quiet (and maybe a shower where someone doesn't walk in on me at least 7 times), it's all cool! Thank you Nick Jr. --Lindsay"

She could have gone off on Disney. :) My brother will tell you all about why Disney movies are terrible. So funny thought. I've always wondered that about Max and Ruby... :)
Hahaha! I was thinking of one the other day. It was Team Umizoomi and they needed to cross a bridge but had to give 4 pieces of gold to the bridge keeper. They miraculously went to a spot on the riverbank and panned for gold. They needed 4 pieces to cross the bridge. They found what they needed and went to cross the bridge.
A- Where the H is this gold giving river?
B- If my kids found a gold giving river and only took 4 pieces, I'd be pissed.
and...
C- This bridge keeper has a monopoly going on. He's taking huge pieces of gold from children so they can cross a stupid bridge. The water was easily crossable. And the pieces they found were as big as their hands.
WTH?
