I didn't get into costumes as much as I usually like to. Paige was a bee in the "Jungle Book, Kids" at the end of October so I just had her wear her costume from the show to her school Halloween parade. She just picked out a couple of things from her dress up box for the ward Halloween party and Halloween night. She still ended up super cute though. Landon got a Spider man shirt for his Birthday and so I just had him wear that and got him a spider man ski mask. They still loved it, and it didn't bother me as much when they went trick-or-treating and had to put on a coat because it was so cold outside. I didn't dress up and Robert just wore his $3 DI "Vote for Pedro" shirt and said he was a campaign manager. Jefferson is the only one that I actually got a costume for. But that's only because I walked past a cute monkey suit at Target a month before Halloween. This may be the last year I can get away with not doing much because my kids are getting older.
This is how Landon looked when he got home from trick-or-treating and took off his Spider Man ski mask. They went a little later than we hoped because we had to wait for a break in the rain. But his hair was all crazy and his nose was red from where the ski mask rested. It was so cute.

This is Paige in "Jungle Book". She's the one in the middle up high under the tree. She was so stinking cute. I was so impressed with how well she knew her stuff. She great at hearing the rhythm and the beat. We went on a mommy/daughter date to Red Mango after the first night and she was so excited. She's always asking me what I'm going to give her for doing a good job. She spends the week before her plays saying, "I wonder if anyone will bring me flowers!"
This is our silly Landon. I got Robert the "Perfect Push-ups" a few years ago for Christmas. He does all sorts of tricks with them. It was so cute to see Landon trying to be like his daddy!Robert is all schedules for next semester and will only need to take 2 classes next summer before he can get into the teaching program. She we will spend next semester applying for the program. It's so exciting. It fills so nice to know we are almost halfway done. It went by pretty fast!
I have been thinking about doing a date night group. Someone told me about a date night group they used to do where they had 4 different families and you take one night a month to watch all the kids but then you have the other 3 nights to have a date night free of charge. I was thinking it would be fun to do every Saturday night from 5-9 and only have to worry about one Saturday a month and plan fun activities for the kids to do. Doesn't that sound awesome?!
