Quiet Time Books

So for a while now I have been in search of a good Quiet Time book. I've found a couple but they cost about $30. I was think I might be able to make it for less. I need some fun ideas that can go inside a Quite Time book. I know that they have buttons, zippers and tying. But is there anything more or a creative way of doing the buttons, zippers and tying. Any ideas would be great!

I always thought a little pocket that unzipped or buttoned would be SO CUTE with a valium or benedryl tucked in it for a surprise treat. It would be the ultimate quiet book.

Have you looked on Etsy.com? Brilliant ideas. Good luck and I'll let you knwo if I come across any ideas.
Oh, also, I have found a wonderful resource in the Google search for blogs. Search for Quiet book tutorials/ideas. Let me know if you have any lick!

I don't know if you can add this but my girls got some paper doll things from Swiss Days. Their clothes are felt and they stick to velcro. They love them!

They have some quiet-time soft books at Wal-mart for the low, low price of $10. Tristan loved his forever. I am finding now though, that he LOVES his new Peek-A-Boo bags. http://www.peekaboostuff.com/ http://peek-a-boostuff.blogspot.com/
They are only $15 and totally worth it. They even have the learning to read ones for older kids. So great!
