My Weirdness!

All my life my dad has made up weird words for things. I think he has passed that on too me. But somewhere down the line it has caused confusion. :-) My friends in High School would always laugh at the words that would come out of my mouth when I was scared, confused or excited. So where did the confusion come in? A few years ago I was fed up with something and I said "That's it! I'm tossing in the rag!" That's right my friends, I was tossing in the rag. I couldn't just simple throw in the towel. (The correct one doesn't even sound right to me!) Yesterday I was trying to tell Robert that either way he went it would be about the same, and I said "It's about 9's either way". I did start thinking after I said it that it didn't sound right. He tuned to me and said "You mean 6's?" Then he started to laugh and said, "That's it! I'm tossing in the rag, it's about 9's!!"
So how do I know that I can blame this all on my dad? Yesterday I was describing a cloud, and because I didn't know the real word I said "Nimulum columbulus". He went right along with it and said it like that about 3 more times. My mom was in the other room yelling the right name! It was pretty funny.
So if I'm ever chatting with you and completely say the wrong thing you know why. Just go with the flow if that ever happens! :-)

That is SO funny! I do the same thing!!!! Jeff usually doesn't say anything, but when he does... we get a good laugh about it. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
