The Dance!!

We had the time of our lives at the dance. We got matching shirts and spruced up for our night of fun! Our sweet friends from our ward picked us up and we headed out. Our stake did a wonderful job putting this together. They had an awesome spread of veggies, meatballs, chicken wings, fruit and chocolate fountains. They even put up a kissing booth in the back of the room. I think Robert and I were the first to occupy it. :-)

The night before the dance Robert and I got on YouTube to check out some moves that we could use at the dance. We ended up pushing the couch back and learning the Thriller dance!! When the Thriller song came on at the dance and I got so excited! We ran to the middle and started doing the dance and before we knew it we had about 30 people behind us following our lead. It was awesome! We just let go for the night and had the time of our lives! I'm glad I have been running lately because I don't think I could have lasted the 3 hours I did. I was so tired about half way through but it didn't stop me from doing the cotton-eyed joe!!

Nat Bat and Davy showed up just in time to do the YMCA with us. We are so glad they live close by. They are so fun to be with! We loved hanging out with the Thomas' (the other crazy couple in our ward) too! They are such a blast! After that dance I am even more willing to allow Paige to be betrothed to one of their boys! :-) They are such great friends! We have so much fun when we are with them.

I wish we had a dance to go to every weekend! What a fun date night!!
